sustainability goals

From food waste

to plant growth

Our Story

ReRootSG began from an earlier student led sustainability initiative focused on upcycling food waste into useful products.

As the project grew and evolved, we refreshed our name and direction but our mission remains the same: to give food waste a second life.

Today, ReRootSG focuses on turning everyday food by-products such as eggshells, banana peels, coffee grounds, and SCOBY into sustainable plant fertiliser, educational experiences, and community impact.

Same vision. Same goal. New roots.

We believe circular solutions should be practical, local, and easy to understand. Through our products, workshops, and partnerships, we hope to support greener growing and inspire more people in Singapore to see waste as a resource.

Education & Community

  • Hands-on workshops that turn food waste into learning.

  • Partnerships with schools, community gardens, and local organisations.

  • Building awareness around circular economy and sustainable plant care.
